Since 1996, The Signature Music Company has been Lancaster's premier guitar and instrument shop featuring well-known manufacturers and makes from throughout the world.

Owned and operated by musicians, Signature Music is open six days a week, Monday through Friday, from 11am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm.

Unlike large national chain music stores, you will experience a friendly, low-key atmosphere with an emphasis in matching the musician with an instrument or accessory suited to their individual needs.

From the occasional "front porch" player to the "seasoned" veteran, you will find inexpensive, entry-level instruments, from well-known names such as Yamaha and Crafter as well as America's finest hand-made guitars from CF Martin, Taylor, and Gibson.

Primarily an acoustic guitar shop, Signature Music also carries electric guitars and amplifiers by name-brand makers. In addition, we carry microphones, drummer accessories, strings, straps, electronic tuners, and most other accessories that a beginning or professional player may need.

For those who seek out vintage or collectible instruments, you will find a wide selection of properly sourced guitars and amps selected by owner Dick Evener. As a working player/musician, and experienced repairman, Dick selects only those instruments as he himself would be proud to own.

Dick Evener has 35 years of repair experience, and Signature is a CF Martin Authorized Repair Center, a distinction reserved by the Martin company for only the most experienced and competent repair shops. We are proud to have earned this elite recognition for fifteen years running.

Last year, Signature Music was selected by one of the largest band and orchestra suppliers in the United States to offer rental and purchase of all band instruments. The company Music and Arts supplies our shop with the top names in brass, woodwinds, and percussion for our local school systems and students to begin their musical journeys.
